ELDT THEORY NOW

We’re here to help.

For questions about planned courses and enrollment availability, call ELDT Theory Now.

Call (469) 344-1232

Register to enroll. Each theory course is $75 with 30-day access from activation. Please do not send driver-license numbers, birth dates or payment details through this public website.

Help us understand your question

When you call, tell us which theory path you are exploring: Class A, Class B, a Class B-to-A upgrade, Passenger, School Bus or HazMat. Explain whether this is your first commercial license, an upgrade or an endorsement added to an existing CDL. That helps us point you to the relevant program information.

Check availability before making plans

This public site describes courses being prepared. Register to enroll. Each theory course is $75 with 30-day access from activation. Ask about current availability before arranging travel, selecting a test appointment or assuming that an online course can be purchased today. Final enrollment instructions and pricing will be published before paid enrollment opens.

Theory and driving are separate steps

An online theory course does not provide the in-person range and public-road portions of ELDT. Drivers on a covered Class A, Class B, Passenger or School Bus path must arrange the applicable driving component with a registered provider. First-time HazMat ELDT is theory only. The underlying CDL may have its own requirements.

For in-person vehicle rental, limited familiarization and separate ELDT range/road questions in Royse City, see Get Your CDL Quick’s Texas driving-service information. Confirm eligibility and availability with the service provider.

Protect your personal information

Do not send license numbers, Social Security numbers, birth dates, medical documents or card details through this public site. General questions about your intended course and testing state are enough to begin a conversation.
