How information is collected, protected and retained while you use your account.
What the application records
Registration details, license and birth-date information, email, phone, consent, enrollments, study time, assessment attempts and scores, completion records, support tickets and administrative changes are stored. Session identifiers and user-agent information are logged. IP addresses are captured only when a trusted server proxy has been configured.
Protection and retention
Passwords are salted and hashed. Identity details and support-message bodies are encrypted in the database. Completed training records are retained for at least three years after completion. For incomplete enrollment, the current rule uses course expiration; an extension updates the date. Authorized holds suspend deletion and are recorded.
An account with multiple enrollments is retained until the latest applicable enrollment retention date. Retention holds and reporting history can require longer preservation. Deletion is not immediate or automatic on request.
Training completion reporting
Eligible completed training is reported to FMCSA TPR with your legal name, license or permit number, issuing state, date of birth, theory course, completion date and score. Payment-card information is handled by the payment processor.
