Learning should be accessible.

These information pages support mobile screens, keyboard navigation and labeled navigation links. We are continuing to review accessibility as the learning platform is prepared.

If you have difficulty using this website, call (469) 344-1232 for assistance.

Browse on your preferred device

The public information pages are designed for phones, tablets and computers. Use the course links to choose Class A, Class B, an upgrade or an endorsement path. Expand the curriculum section to read the planned topics. You do not need a public student login to read these outlines.

Keyboard and reading controls

Use the keyboard Tab key to move between links and controls. Activate a focused link with Enter. Expandable sections use the browser’s standard disclosure control. You can use your browser’s text-size and zoom features to make the information easier to read. A larger display may help when comparing several course paths.

Tell us about an access barrier

If a page is difficult to read or a control is difficult to use, call (469) 344-1232. Tell us the page title, the action you were trying to complete and the device or browser you were using. You do not need to provide a license number or other private student information to report a website issue.

Public information and future course access

Register to enroll. Each theory course is $75 with 30-day access from activation. The public outlines describe planned course content; they are not the protected study lessons or assessments. We are continuing the accessibility review as the learning platform is prepared. Check the current enrollment and course information when it becomes available.

Help with official licensing requirements

Website assistance does not decide whether an applicant meets medical, language, training or testing requirements. Contact Texas DPS or the appropriate state licensing agency about licensing accommodations and eligibility. A theory course and a CDL skills test are different services with different requirements.

Visit the FAQ for common theory questions or the contact page for general course-availability help.
